Optional Accessories and Services
Most items have a "maximum" amount that will be charged to keep these accessories affordable for longer rentals. That means that the per day charge will apply up to the maximum amount with no additional charge for that item for the remainder of the rental period. Some items are only available on certain Jeeps® so check the notes for availability.
Front Hard-Top Panels - $9.95 per Day
Available for any soft-top Jeep® (max $29.85)
This pair of hard-top panels is extremely easy to attach or remove when the soft-top is down and offer the following benefits -
1) shade for the front passengers - not only from heat but also protection from over-exposure to the sun
2) significant reduction in noise from wind when driving on the highway
Luggage Rack - $9.95 per Day
Not available on red 4-door at this time (max $29.85)
This luggage rack attaches easily to the 2-inch hitch receiver under the back bumper. Its 200-pound capacity more than makes up for the limited luggage space in the 2-door Jeeps®.
The renter is responsible for providing their own tie-downs and protecting items from the elements while on this external luggage rack.
Available ONLY in red 2-door at this time (max $29.85)
This CB radio is a useful extra for road trips. And some trail systems and wilderness areas require a CB radio for emergency communications so check
your intended destinations before departure.
Collision Damage Waiver - $19.95 per Day
If you purchase the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), we waive our right to collect from you for a portion of Physical Damage to the Vehicle. We do not waive our right to collect from you for Physical Damage if the damage: (a) is caused intentionally or by willful or wanton misconduct of an Authorized Driver; (b) arises out of the use of the Vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, a controlled substance, or any other intoxicant that impairs driving ability; (c) arises out of the use of the Vehicle while engaged in the commission of a crime other than a traffic violation; (d) arises out of the use of the vehicle to carry persons or property for hire, to push or tow anything, to engage in a speed contest or for driver's training; (e) arises out of the use of the Vehicle by anyone other than
an Authorized Driver; (f) arises out of the use of the vehicle outside the continental United States, unless that use is specifically authorized in this Agreement. CDW does not apply if we entered into this rental transaction based on fraudulent information supplied by the renter.
Subject to these terms (which also appear in Paragraph 5 on the reverse side of your rental agreement), your responsibility for Physical Damage to the Vehicle is limited to $1000.
Before deciding whether to purchase the waiver, you may wish to determine whether your own automobile insurance or credit card agreement provides you coverage for rental vehicle damage or loss and determine the amount of deductible under your own insurance coverage. The purchase of the waiver is not mandatory. The waiver is not insurance.
